What injectables do we use at ReNew You?
Botox is one of the injectables we use to block muscle movement and cause temporary paralysis, resulting in diminished lines and wrinkles. Botox is used medically to treat certain conditions and cosmetically, to remove wrinkles.
A licensed practitioner will inject small does of Botox into the face, causing a smoothing out of facial wrinkles, frown lines, lines between the eyebrows, crow’s feet, forehead furrows, and the horizontal lines that form when you lift your eyebrows. Botox will help refresh your facial features and restore younger looking skin.
For those who suffer from excessive sweating, treatment of the underarm with Botox will dramatically decrease the sweat production.
Botox must be used only under a doctor’s care. It can be dangerous if it’s administered incorrectly. Our providers are committed in ensuring your health and well-being during every visit.
Botox injections will last 3 to 4 months, depending on the location being treated. Learn more about Botox by reading our blog post!
Important Safety Information on Botox
KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”
When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® permanently destroys fat cells. Your body’s natural metabolism then processes the fat cleared from the treatment area. Once the fat cells are gone, you’re left with a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin.
The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps break down fat.
Dermal Fillers
Age-related volume loss of the facial fat cells, coupled with diminished collagen production, are key factors in the development of facial lines, folds, and wrinkles. These static wrinkles in the mid and lower face can be injected with a hyaluronic acid dermal filler (like Juvederm) to effectively replace the volume and ”fill” in the folds. An individualized treatment plan is formed for each patient. Fillers can also be used to plump lips, lift sunken cheeks, enhance shallow contours, as well as softening the appearance of facial lines and folds.
